the problem
every group plan stalls on the same question: where do we meet? "somewhere in the middle" usually means the loudest person’s neighbourhood, and a dot halfway across the map ignores that getting there isn’t equal for everyone.
what i built
a platform that takes everyone’s starting points and finds the spot that’s fairest by real travel time (transit, driving, walking, or cycling) instead of a geographic midpoint.
group sessions, venue suggestions around the optimal point, and a serverless backend that keeps the travel-time queries fast and rate-limited.

outcome
live at midwhereah.com. the company i co-founded around it is backed by a startup grant, and it’s still in active use.
